Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) InReach Rehab is seeking a flexible and dedicated full-time or part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Bayou Bend Hospital in Franklin, LA. Apply today and become a valued member of our team! Duties and Responsibilities Provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence. Lead therapeutic interventions addressing ADLs, IADLs, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety. Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely clinical records. Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and strategies to support continued progress. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment. Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture. Requirements Graduate of (or anticipated graduation from) an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Louisiana OTA license (or eligibility). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Excellent documentation and time-management skills. Commitment to patient-centered care and functional outcomes.
