IMC is currently hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, who under the general supervision of the Administrator of Rehab Services, and a Licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will implement appropriate treatment plans, be responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed occupational therapy in the inpatient setting, outpatient rehab, nursing home and home health department to restore function and prevent disability, injury or loss of a body part; helps the patient reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will consult with Licensed Occupational Therapist and other physicians to promote continuity of care through appropriate support personnel.
EDUCATION A
minimum of an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy.EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in inpatient and outpatient settings.PRINCIPLE TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
