We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team on a per diem basis. As a valued member of our therapy department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and residents. About the
Role:
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being for our patients and residents. You will conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being Provide occupational therapy interventions, including but not limited to: Therapeutic activities and exercises Adaptive equipment training Environmental modifications Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Completion of an associate's degree in occupational therapy or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy How to
