Key Qualifications:
Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting Familiarity with diverse K-12 populations and adapting support to a range of student needs Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and educational staff Strong communication and organizational skills Valid licensure in the state of Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT Support students in achieving their IEP goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily school participation Assist in developing and delivering individualized or group interventions tailored to student needs Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session activities Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and the therapy team to promote student success Contribute to the school community in a positive, professional manner
