Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Nursing and rehab Lowell, MA Job Details Contract $36 - $42 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Direct patient care Teamwork Occupational Therapy Assistant License Occupational Therapy Patient treatment Full Job Description Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines. Assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence.
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy interventions per OT plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Assist with patient and family education
- Communicate patient status to supervising OT
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
