Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a 186-bed skilled nursing facility, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated care team.
Job Summary:
As a COTA, you will assist in the provision of occupational therapy services to our patients under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will be responsible for collecting assessment data, providing direct treatment to a general rehab caseload, and participating in clinical program development. Weekly pay up to $35 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the provision of occupational therapy services to patients with a range of diagnoses and needs Collect assessment data and develop treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Provide direct treatment to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions Participate in clinical program development and implementation Document activities and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and caregivers to ensure high-quality patient care Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment
Requirements:
Associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program Current licensure by the applicable state agency CEU's per state licensure requirements Two (2) years of clinical experience preferred, but newly licensed COTAs welcome to apply!
