9681014-02176 Job Description Step into a fulfilling contract role supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Youll work closely with a supervising Occupational Therapist and play a key part in fostering student growth and independence. This full-time, school-based position offers the opportunity to make a daily impact in a collaborative environment.
Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts COTA License required Experience with elementary-aged children preferred Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to elementary students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Support IEP implementation and help students achieve educational goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation on student progress and sessions Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop strategies that assist students within the classroom Monitor student caseload as assigned Adapt activities to meet individualized needs in a school setting
