Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, working within a vibrant school environment just outside Wilmington, MA. This 0.8 FTE position invites dedicated and compassionate therapy professionals to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by providing vital OT support across varied educational settings.
Desired Qualifications:
Active certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience supporting pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Familiarity with school-based therapy processes, IEP documentation, and goal tracking Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and multi-disciplinary teams Strong organizational skills and a flexible, proactive approach to daily challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Support students' functional skills development within classroom and small-group environments Assist in implementing individualized education plans and therapy activities tailored to each student's needs Maintain thorough records of student progress and participate in team meetings as needed Collaborate with faculty, families, and related service providers to promote student success Adjust therapy techniques and strategies to align with best practices and student goals This contract position offers a balanced workload across four days per week, allowing for harmonious work-life integration.
