Job Description

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting student success as an Occupational Therapy Assistant within a collaborative school environment near Dearborn, MI. In this role, you'll work closely with a part-time virtual Occupational Therapist, providing hands-on services to students across a manageable caseload of 32. This full-time position offers 32.5 hours per week in a supportive educational setting, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while sharpening your skills.
Key Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy preferred Ability to follow guidance and collaborate effectively with a supervising virtual OT Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, staff, and families Strong organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students based on individualized plans Collect and record data on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers and student support teams to promote optimal learning environments Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student development Communicate regularly with supervising OT for direction, feedback, and support
