Occupational Therapy Assistant Home Care Corewell Health United States, Michigan, Grand Rapids May 01, 2026 Scope of Work As an OTA you will work under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist, provides occupational therapy services to patients/clients to assist in improving basic motor functions, reasoning abilities, compensating for permanent loss of function by teaching patients/clients to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments.

May provide treatment to patients/clients with cognitive impairment, psychosocial dysfunction and physical disability.

Assists with patient/clients and caregiver education. Standard Qualifications Required Associate's Degree accredited therapy assistant program Therapy assistance experience Preferred Experience in neurological injury, TBI, and Spinal Cord injury (based on Spectrum Health entity) Preferred LIC-Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)
