Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This part-time position offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to expand to full-time as the practice grows. The ideal candidate will specialize in pediatric feeding and sensory therapy, providing high-quality, individualized care to children in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide pediatric occupational therapy services focusing on feeding and sensory needs. Deliver interventions primarily for children with minimal fine motor requirements. Work collaboratively with families to implement therapy plans and achieve goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic policies. Participate in on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), pediatric experience preferred. Valid license to practice in Michigan. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental progress. Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn.
