Why You'll Love Working Here Competitive compensation Full-time schedule with excellent work-life balance Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Continuing Education opportunities Supportive leadership and mentorship Therapist-focused culture Opportunities for career growth and advancement What You'll Do As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll partner with the Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care by: Implementing individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), self-care skills, upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and mobility Educating patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment Documenting patient progress accurately and efficiently Collaborating with OTs, PTs, PTAs, SLPs, nursing staff, and physicians Encouraging patients to reach their highest level of independence and function Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Michigan Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) license or eligibility for licensure Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, Home Health, or Outpatient Therapy is a plus, but not required New graduates are welcome to apply Why Traverse City?
