Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join the team at Community Springs Healthcare Facility in El Dorado Springs, MO — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Days Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like:

Assisting residents by assessing, implementing, and evaluating therapy treatments utilizing appropriate equipment, supplies, and procedures. As a COTA, you will be: Following plans-of-care established by therapists Guiding residents through therapy treatments including stretching, joint movement, strength-building routines, using walkers or canes, and standing safely to prevent falls Teaching nursing aides and family members safe handling techniques and transfer methods Analyzing patients' needs and progress throughout treatment and reporting observations to therapists and other care team members Documenting relevant and appropriate information for care planning

Qualifications Education:

Completion of an approved Occupational Therapist Assistant Program or other certification program recognized by the

State Board of Healing Arts Experience:

New grads welcome! 1 year of experience preferred

Skills:

Customer service, time-management, problem-solving, communication

Licensure/Certification:

Certification by the

American Occupational Therapy Certification Board Physical:

Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance; carry up to 35 lbs.
