Key Skills & Experience:
Active COTA certification is required Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with young children, parents, and fellow staff members Organizational skills to manage caseload and meet deadlines effectively Adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to fostering student independenceEssential Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to early childhood students as part of their educational teams Conduct assessments and participate in goal-setting for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and special education professionals Implement treatment plans that support fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills development Track student progress and maintain accurate records in support of educational goals Participate in team meetings and provide input on therapy accommodations and strategies Engage with families to provide resources and support for student success outside the classroomBenefits & Perks:
