This is a travel temporary assignment with placement in a long-term care environment that values collaborative, patient-centered rehab services.

Shift:
Days Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: Long-term care / nursing home Responsibilities Provide direct, supervised occupational therapy assistant support under the supervision of an OT, delivering therapy interventions to residents in a long-term care setting. Assist with implementing and progressing treatment plans to improve activities of daily living, mobility, range of motion, balance, and functional outcomes. Prepare treatment areas and equipment, maintain infection control, and assist with patient positioning, transfers, and safe handling as needed. Document resident progress, observe for changes in status, and communicate significant findings to the supervising OT and care team. Collaborate with OT, nursing, and rehab staff to ensure continuity of care and alignment with resident goals. Support residents and families with education and guidance to promote engagement in therapeutic activities and safety in daily routines. Requirements Active Montana licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligible for licensure. Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting with older adults and residents with diverse rehabilitation needs. Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Availability to fulfill a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours and daytime shifts.
