OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT NEEDED- PEDS
About Kids in Motion Therapy (KIM) Kids in Motion (KIM) is a private pediatric medical practice located in the Greensboro/High Point area of North Carolina providing Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapies. We work with children and families ranging in ages from birth to 21 using a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach. Job Summary You will have the career-building and job satisfaction opportunity to treat and collaborate (co-treat) with experienced Occupational, Physical, and Speech-Language Pathology Therapists. You will have the opportunity to work in combination of the home environment as well as in our clinic facility located in Wallburg, North Carolina. You will provide therapy to children who need help with sensory integration, fine motor skills, feeding/swallowing, visual perception, and/or ADL (activities of daily life). Qualifications North Carolina license to practice Occupational Therapy Prior pediatric experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Treat the pediatric population with a variety of ages and needs. Performs patient care by carrying out patient treatment plans as outlined by OTR. Document and complete dynamic treatment plans and progress reports. Update patient progress to family Communicate with families, team, and lead therapist. Maintain continuing education requirements. Comply with governing code of ethics. Complete all documentation and records in a timely and accurate manner. Benefits Kids in Motion (KIM) provides competitive pay. Part Time (15-20 hours per a week) with progression to full time as caseload increases.
