Duties:

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence ```

Requirements:

```

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and techniques
• Experience or interest in working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and individuals with acute care needs
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical imaging and terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
