Job Description
```
Duties:
```- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence ```
Requirements:
```- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, practices, and techniques
- Experience or interest in working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and individuals with acute care needs
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical imaging and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
