Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working with middle school students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 academic year. This engaging opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027 and offers a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with 35 hours per week. The role is conveniently located near Dover, NH, serving a supportive educational environment. Ideal candidates will bring passion, adaptability, and experience in school-based occupational therapy. Youll collaborate closely with a diverse team, helping students develop the functional skills needed for academic and personal success.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous school-based experience strongly preferred, especially within middle school populations Ability to adapt to various student needs and learning styles Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students Up-to-date credentials as required by the state of
NH Primary Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to middle school students under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to enhance participation in school activities Document progress and maintain accurate student records Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Contribute to the development and implementation of student-centered intervention plans This is your chance to enrich young lives while working within a welcoming, professional school community.
