This full-time, on-site role offers an excellent opportunity for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) who thrive in educational settings and are open to travel assignments. Key Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations, especially within schools Ability to adapt therapy techniques for various student needs and learning styles Strong communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and families Commitment to a full-time, on-site schedule; travel professionals welcome
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Implement therapy plans, track student progress, and adjust approaches as needed Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote students participation in classroom activities and daily routines Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with legal and school guidelines Contribute to IEP meetings and support students academic, behavioral, and functional goals
