Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as a Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming 2026/27 school year. This position offers a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours per week. Your role will focus on empowering students to thrive in their educational environment, collaborating with dedicated educators and licensed therapists through the end of June 2027.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid COTA license in New Hampshire, or eligibility Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with middle school-aged students Strong interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with providing tailored occupational therapy interventions and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to collaborate effectively with occupational therapists, teachers, and families Detail-oriented approach to documenting progress and maintaining compliance
Responsibilities:
Carry out individualized and group occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT Support students in achieving educational and functional independence within the school environment Complete accurate documentation and progress notes Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and IEP development as needed Provide resources and consultation to staff and families to promote student success
