Role:
As a COTA at Grove Park Healthcare Center, you will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to design and implement personalized treatment plans for our patients. You will use your skills and knowledge to help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work. You will also work closely with our nursing staff, other therapists, and patients to ensure seamless care and effective communication.Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans Perform occupational therapy treatments, including exercise programs, activities of daily living (ADL) training, and cognitive training Use adaptive equipment and assistive devices to help patients perform daily tasks Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plansRequirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred Previous experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)Why Join Our Team:
