Pines Village is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents improve their independence, maximize functional abilities, and adapt to physical limitations following illness, injury, or changes in functional status. Your work will play an important role in helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Schedule Per diem position Day shift Weekdays and weekends as needed Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide therapeutic interventions and treatment techniques designed to improve residents' ability to perform activities of daily living. Assist residents in developing and maintaining functional skills related to self-care, mobility, and daily living activities. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety practices, and the proper use of assistive equipment. Monitor, document, and report resident progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate. Support and assist with group therapy activities as directed. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure resident safety during all therapy interventions. Support FellowshipLIFE's mission, vision, and values while providing exceptional resident-centered care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current New Jersey Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to older adults.
