Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients of all ages. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.Responsibilities:
Assist in the evaluation and assessment of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, balance, and daily living activities Monitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessions Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as necessary Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for continued progress at home Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordRequirements:
Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Acute care experience preferred Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and occupational health Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their application in therapy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
