Our clinic is equipped with an innovative sensory gym, sensory room, and state-of-the-art interactive projector—allowing clinicians to prioritize regulation, movement, and engagement while supporting functional skill development. We provide comprehensive evaluations, individual and group therapy (in-person and online), and collaborative services across disciplines. Our mission is to support our clients and their families to optimize growth beyond the clinic setting. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team and provide pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of our licensed Occupational Therapist. Position Responsibilities Provide individual occupational therapy treatment to pediatric clients under the supervision of a licensed OT Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising OT Support children in developing skills related to fine motor development, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual-motor skills, activities of daily living, and functional participation Utilize a child-led, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach Complete timely and thorough treatment documentation Communicate effectively with the supervising OT, families, and other members of the child's care team Participate in ongoing supervision and clinical collaboration Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapy environment Utilize our sensory gym, sensory room, interactive equipment, and other therapeutic resources Qualifications Current New Jersey Occupational Therapy Assistant license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Pediatric experience preferred Experience with sensory processing, developmental disabilities, autism, or other pediatric populations is a plus Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable, compassionate, and collaborative Comfortable working in a fast-paced private practice environment Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and family-centered care Compensation & Schedule $30+/hour Part-time, Full-time, Per-diem options Flexible scheduling based on practice needs and candidate availability Opportunity to build a pediatric caseload as the practice continues to grow Services provided at our Springfield, NJ clinic Why Join Speechpath & Associates?
