Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting both high school and elementary students for the upcoming school year. Beginning in early August and extending through late May, you'll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, making a meaningful difference in two vibrant school communities. Your expertise will impact students from PreK through 6th grade as well as those in 10th to 12th grade, giving you the chance to work across a range of ages and developmental stages. Each day, you'll collaborate with school staff and other professionals, delivering targeted therapy in both group and one-on-one settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license Prior experience in schools or pediatric therapy settings is valued Ability to adapt interventions for students with diverse needs and backgrounds Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered environments
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans guided by occupational therapists Provide direct therapy services to students from PreK to 6th, and 10th to 12th grade Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress Support the integration of therapy goals into the classroom setting What to
