Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy interventions according to the treatment plan. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities. Help improve daily living, motor, and functional skills. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home activities. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Follow safety, infection control, and patient care standards. Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current COTA certification and state licensure. Experience in occupational therapy or a healthcare setting preferred. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
