This contract opportunity allows you to make a lasting difference in the lives of students, supporting both elementary and secondary caseloads in a rewarding educational setting. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, from your ASAP start date through May 28th, engaging with a caseload of 40-50 students. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about promoting growth and helping children overcome daily challenges in both academic and personal development.
Key Qualifications:
Active or eligible for NM RLD license and NMPED license Experience in education settings preferred, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families Adaptability and initiative in meeting diverse student needs Ability to manage a dynamic caseload efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions to support students' success in school activities Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized plans Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and regulatory requirements Utilize creative problem-solving to meet unique student challenges Provide consultation and resources for staff and families
