Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our patients in a compassionate and patient-centered environment. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Mountain View Care Center, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement individualized therapy plans that promote our patients' independence, mobility, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans for patients with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs Conduct occupational therapy sessions, including assessments, treatments, and activities designed to promote patient progress and independence Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote patient participation and engagement in therapy Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, assessments, and treatments Requirements Possess a current Certificate of Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (OTAP) Hold current registration as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Possess a valid state license to practice as an OTA, if applicable Work Environment Work as a PRN (as needed) Occupational Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility setting Provide services to patients with a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional needs, including those with chronic conditions, wounds, and disabilities Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care Per Diem Schedule Work on an as-needed basis, with varied schedules and hours to meet the needs of our facility and patients If you are a motivated and compassionate healthcare professional with a passion for occupational therapy, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant role at Mountain View Care Center.
