Relocation assistance may be available for qualifying candidates. What You'll Do Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA provides occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care.

Responsibilities include:

Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, coordination, strength, cognition, and functional independence. Assist residents with adaptive techniques and equipment. Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress or changes to the supervising OT. Educate residents, caregivers, families, and staff regarding therapeutic techniques and safety. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident goals. Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas in a safe and organized condition. Follow facility policies and applicable federal and state requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Nevada Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing or ability to obtain Nevada licensure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to establish positive relationships with residents and families. Effective documentation and time-management skills.
