If you enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and families, value flexibility, and prefer working independently, home health may be the perfect fit. This setting isn't for everyone—and that's okay! It does require traveling between patients' homes, managing your time independently, and communicating directly with families. However, if you appreciate autonomy, variety in your day, and the opportunity to provide individualized care in a child's natural environment, it can be an incredibly rewarding setting. We intentionally keep our team small to foster a supportive, collaborative environment where therapists have flexibility, autonomy, and direct access to the owner for mentorship, clinical support, and open communication. What We Offer:

YOU create your own schedule! You will coordinate directly with your assigned families to establish treatment days/times that work for both you and the family. Multiple afternoon clients available immediately! We currently have a growing number of pediatric patients ready to be assigned, with the greatest need during after-school hours (approximately 3 PM and later). Start with a few clients or build a consistent part-time caseload, with the opportunity to grow toward a full-time caseload over time. Weekend scheduling is also available if preferred by both the therapist and families. Competitive 1099 contractor compensation. Independence and autonomy with ongoing support and mentorship. A Note About Scheduling & Home Health:

One of the greatest benefits of home health is the flexibility it provides—but flexibility is also important when planning your day. Because treatment is provided in patients' homes throughout the Las Vegas & Henderson areas, therapists should be comfortable driving between visits and accounting for commute times when building their schedules. You have the autonomy to consider location, drive time, personal availability, and desired caseload when coordinating treatment times with your families.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled pediatric occupational therapy services in patients' homes. Complete evaluations (OTR/L only, if applicable), treatment sessions and documentation, progress reports, re-evaluations, and discharge documentation. Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Develop and/or carry out individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and participation in daily activities, as appropriate to professional scope. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Communicate directly and professionally with assigned families regarding scheduling and treatment.

Qualifications:

Current Nevada OTR/L or COTA license in good standing. Current NBCOT certification. Minimum of one (1) year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred (new graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork experience are welcome to apply!). Current CPR certification. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance. Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with families and the supervising therapist/team. Comfortable traveling between patient homes throughout the Las Vegas & Henderson areas.

Independent Contractor Information:

This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors have significant autonomy in managing their availability and coordinating their schedules with assigned families. Contractors are responsible for providing their own treatment toys, materials, and basic therapy supplies. Standardized assessment tools can be provided by the company as needed. Is Home Health Right for You? Home health offers incredible flexibility and independence, but it also requires self-motivation, organization, strong communication, and comfort with traveling between patient homes. This may be an especially great fit if you are looking to: Add a few afternoon patients to your current schedule. Supplement a school-based or other therapy position.
