Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Assistant to join our educational program. In this role, the therapist will work with 1-6 students at a time that have mild occupational therapy needs. Planning and preparation skills are needed to design age-appropriate activities that improve fine motor, daily living, and social emotional skills. We are looking for someone to arrive before 9 on Thursdays. Candidates can negotiate the number of hours up to 6 hours (on Thursdays only). Duties Conduct occupational therapy assessments to evaluate students' physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities Communicate goals with the director and other teachers Prepare and implement a lesson focused on fine motor and pre-writing skills for 6 students ages 4-7. Develop goals and strategies to improve and support social emotional regulation. Prepare and implement a lesson that focus on the social emotional needs of the group. Willingness to work in a faith-based environment.

Pay:

$31.52 - $37.96 per hour Expected hours: 3.0 - 6.0 per week
