Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full-Time Medford Multicare Long Island Medford, NY $28-$34/hour Post Rehab is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, helping them improve independence and confidence in their daily activities.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist Assist residents with activities focused on self-care, upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and daily living skills Implement individualized treatment plans designed to support functional goals and independence Reinforce adaptive techniques, therapeutic exercises, and compensatory strategies established by the OT Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards

Qualifications:
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required New graduates are encouraged to apply Direct Hire. No Agency.
