Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, School-Based St. Joseph Medical Center - 3.0 Yonkers, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time $55,120 - $85,000 a year 6 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Writing skills Full Job Description Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the '26-'27 school year. Reporting to the Director of the School-Based Rehab Program and OT Supervisor, the OT or COTA will provide intervention for children in the Yonkers Public Schools and possibly the student's homes, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians and teachers. OTs will also evaluate students and may have the opportunity to provide supervision to, and documentation for, COTAs. Interested therapists may also have the chance to provide aquatic therapy to students. The population served is pediatric (5-21 years old).
Job Requirements:
1. Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and strong communication skills; written and verbal. Must have excellent organizational skills and be flexible. 2. New York State Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License required. 3. Bachelor's or Master's of Science degree from an Occupational Therapy program. 4. New graduates are welcome to apply. Salaries and Pay:
Salary for full-time Occupational Therapist (paid bi-weekly): $85,000.00 annually Salary for full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (paid bi-weekly): $55,120.00 annually Pay rate for
Part-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant:

Benefits:
Health and Dental are provided for individuals who work 30+ hours per week for 45 days and must continue working 30+ hours to maintain the benefits.
