Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Phoenix of Fairlawn - 3.1 Akron, OH Job Details Per diem 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Occupational Therapy Assistant License Full Job Description PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Phoenix of Fairlawn - Akron, OH Every Other Saturday + Weekday Coverage | PRN | SNF/LTC | In-House Rehab Phoenix of Fairlawn is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team! We have an immediate need for a COTA who can provide every-other-Saturday coverage , along with additional weekend support as needed. This is a great opportunity for a COTA looking to add consistent PRN hours while working with an experienced rehab team in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. What You'll Do Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Work with our SNF/LTC residents to improve independence, function, and quality of life Carry out individualized treatment plans and document resident progress Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health Provide reliable weekend coverage for the rehab department Schedule PRN Every other Saturday availability needed Additional weekend coverage opportunities available Potential for additional PRN hours based on facility needs and availability Qualifications Current Ohio COTA license Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program SNF/LTC experience preferred Familiarity with Net Health is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependable and comfortable working independently when needed New graduates with an interest in SNF/LTC are welcome to apply Why Phoenix of Fairlawn?
