GENERAL DESCRIPTION

To assist in providing occupational therapy to students with disabilities while working under the direction and supervision of an occupational therapist.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License. Valid Ohio Department of Education Occupational Therapy Assistant License. Valid Ohio driver's license. Knowledge of IDEA rules and regulations, and best practices for the provision of therapy services for children in their least restrictive environment. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of students, families and staff. Access to own motor vehicle during work hours. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and community. Demonstrated ability to work/operate as a team member. History of good job attendance. Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases.
