Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic school based team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to deliver high-quality treatment sessions in a variety of school settings. Your expertise will help students regain independence, improve their daily functioning, and enhance their overall quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in diverse student populations, from preschool thru high school. Duties Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing personalized plans of care tailored to each patient's needs. Provide hands-on therapy interventions in various school settings. Educate students and their families on therapeutic activities and strategies to promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions. Document patient progress accurately in student records while adhering to confidentiality standards and organizational policies and company protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless student progress across all settings. Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use. Skills Strong knowledge of school based terminology Active Listening
