Exceptional Rehab, located within the warm and welcoming Best Care facility, is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate therapy services to individuals in need of rehabilitative care. We focus on improving the quality of life for our residents through personalized, attentive care and fostering a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are located in Wheelersburg, OH.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping residents achieve their fullest potential while collaborating with a skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide top-notch therapy to residents, helping them improve their quality of life Work with a diverse range of rehab patients and rehab needs Collaborate with a fun and supportive interdisciplinary team Carries out responsibilities in compliance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and with facility philosophy, policies and procedures Maintains proper documentation. This may include but is not limited to: creating and/or maintaining resident records for each resident treated. Timely and accurately completes rehabilitation billing and labor entries Participates in clinical program development and implementation Deliver personalized treatment plans in a welcoming, community-centered environment Performs selected occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist. Obtains data related to the interventions provided Makes modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client as directed by the occupational therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort.
Qualifications:
Licensed COTA in the state the facility is located in Strong communication and teamwork skills A graduate of an approved education course for occupational therapy assistants. Must not be excluded or sanctioned from state or federal program. Meets state and federal requirements. Prior EMR/Computer experience and long-term care experience strongly preferred. Experience in SNF setting is a plus but not required. A passion for helping others thrive!
