Description Cleveland Area Hospital, a supportive Critical Access Hospital, is seeking a COTA who enjoys pediatrics, variety, and collaboration within a close-knit interdisciplinary team in a rural hospital setting. We offer Flexible scheduling to fit your availability: M, W, F pediatric caseload or Expanded schedule including Tuesdays & Thursdays, with opportunities for adult outpatient and inpatient coverage. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to patients across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and outpatient facilities
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities and strategies to promote ongoing recovery
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment

Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or registration as required
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to patient-centered care
  • Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and treatment plans
