Job Description

We are Regency Gresham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center offer skilled nursing and long term care services while focusing on the unique qualities of each individual in a compassionate and caring environment. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes clinical responsibility in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of direct patient care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed as assigned.
You will:
Under the supervision of a Occupational Therapist, is at all times responsible to follow all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care Follow the treatment set only as defined by the Occupational Therapist; to perform only those procedures that the COTA is qualified and trained to perform Make all recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist. You currently:
Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program. Possess, prior to, onboarding and maintain a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in assigned state. Adaptability, compassion, detail oriented, friendly & courteous. A moderate degree of physical strength is needed because of the exertion required to assist patients. Ability to kneel, stoop and stand for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
