Job Description

Assistant/Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy & Director of Clinical Education (DCE) Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Director of Clinical Education with faculty rank in the developing Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) Program. This is a unique opportunity to serve as the founding Academic Fieldwork Coordinator (AFWC) for a new hybrid occupational therapy program and help shape the fieldwork experiences of its inaugural cohorts. This is a hybrid faculty position that offers flexibility while maintaining a meaningful on-campus presence. Faculty work collaboratively with the Program Director to establish a regular campus schedule that supports teaching, student engagement, accreditation activities, recruitment, and departmental and College responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a central role in developing fieldwork infrastructure, cultivating innovative clinical partnerships, supporting accreditation activities, and preparing for the program's first cohort in Summer 2028. As a core faculty member, the Director of Clinical Education will also teach in areas of expertise, advise students, engage in scholarship, participate in departmental, college, and professional service, and contribute to student recruitment and continuous program improvement. The MSOT program will be housed in the state-of-the-art Arnold Health Professions Pavilion, featuring flexible classroom space, advanced instructional technology, a human performance laboratory, ADL/IADL apartment, gross anatomy laboratory, and dedicated occupational therapy facilities. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
