Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active COTA license in Pennsylvania Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, educators, and other therapists Ability to travel between schools within Bethlehem and surrounding areas Flexibility and adaptability to support various age ranges and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely under the direction of occupational therapists to implement targeted intervention plans Assist students with fine motor skills, sensory strategies, self-care, and access to learning environments Contribute to ongoing assessments and maintain detailed daily documentation Support and consult with classroom teachers and staff regarding student needs and progress Facilitate carryover of therapy strategies within classroom routines Participate in IEP meetings and offer insights to improve goal attainment
