Key Qualifications:

Valid certification and state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and educational goals Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet each student's unique needs Organizational skills and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the supervising Occupational Therapist in delivering direct and consultative services to students Implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Document student progress and assist with data collection for IEP meetings Participate in team meetings, contribute to intervention planning, and share insights on student progress Foster a welcoming, supportive environment that encourages student participation and achievement
