Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you'll help residents improve the skills they need to participate more independently in everyday life.

Your responsibilities will include:

Implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Helping residents improve activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting and self-care Addressing strength, balance, coordination, endurance and functional mobility as they relate to daily activities Providing therapeutic activities designed to improve independence and safety Monitoring resident response to treatment and communicating progress with the supervising OT Educating residents, families and caregivers on strategies that support continued success Collaborating with PT, OT, SLP, nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation Most importantly, you'll help residents work toward something incredibly valuable: greater independence and quality of life.
