COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been dedicated to the continued healing mission of Jesus Christ by providing a continuum of care and supportive services to adults, their families and their caregivers. We are seeking to hire a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA. Full-Time schedule. $31 to $35 per hour based on skills and experience. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant -
COTA Qualifications:
PA Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant. Completion of 2-year accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Experience in geriatrics is preferred. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant -
COTA Job Summary:
Treat residents under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Document weekly notes, monthly notes, and statistics. Train nursing staff and families regarding proper positioning and carry over of O.T. program. Discuss treatment plans and goals with Occupational Therapist. Modify/adapt wheelchair part(s) and accessories, modifies splints or other assistive devices for residents. This is a brief overview of job responsibilities and not intended to be all inclusive.
