Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Join our team at Richland Nursing and Rehab and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents! Our caring and compassionate staff is skilled in short-term rehabilitation as well as long-term care, helping our residents meet their goals with individualized attention. Located off Route 219 in beautiful Richland Township, we are conveniently situated near dining, shopping, and healthcare venues. About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents regain their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Your expertise in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans will help our residents successfully transition back to their homes and communities.
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for our residents Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments and evaluations to identify resident needs and abilities Develop and implement treatment plans to address resident goals and objectives Provide direct occupational therapy services to residents, including exercises, activities, and training Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and therapy services Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience in rehabilitation setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with diverse populations and adjust to changing situations
