What We're Looking For:
Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a COTA Current NBCOT certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Previous experience working with students, ideally in schools or special education Willingness to serve schools in Carbon and/or Lehigh County Commitment to a school-based schedule, up to 35 hours per week, for the duration of the academic year Strong comfort level collaborating with students who have varying abilities and needs Ability to attend an in-person interview
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as directed in school settings, supporting students' academic and developmental goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design and implement relevant interventions Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress Adapt quickly to school placements and student rosters as determined by the unit's needs Maintain compliance with all school and state regulations for occupational therapy practice
