What You'll Do As a COTA, you'll work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to: Provide skilled occupational therapy visits in patients' homes Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living Reinforce therapeutic activities and home exercise programs Teach patients how to safely use adaptive equipment Work on strength, endurance, mobility, safety, and functional skills Observe and report changes in patient function Communicate with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team Complete electronic documentation Help patients achieve practical goals that improve everyday life What We're Looking For Current Pennsylvania COTA license Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently in the community Dependable, patient-focused, and ready to be part of a team New to home health?
