Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Uniontown Nursing & Rehabilitation - Uniontown, PA Join Our In-House Therapy Team and Make a Difference Every Day! Uniontown Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Uniontown, Pennsylvania . This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced therapy professionals dedicated to helping residents maximize independence and improve their quality of life. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation environment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans for short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, mobility, coordination, and overall independence. Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and compensatory techniques. Complete accurate and timely documentation using Net Health . Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible resident outcomes. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations. Qualifications Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply . Experience with Net Health is a plus.
