Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an OTA, you will work with patients to help them gain independence and improve their quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in our community. We serve all ages and a wide variety of conditions. Duties:
  • Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to address patients' specific needs
  • Assist patients in improving their motor skills, coordination, and range of motion
  • Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
  • Provide guidance and support to patients' families and caregivers
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid state license AND certification as an OT Assistant
  • Proven experience working with a diverse range of patients, including pediatrics and adults
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
