The COTA will work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist (OT), physician, and patient to support rehabilitation goals and improve patient independence and quality of life. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist (OT) to plan, develop, and implement patient treatment plans Provide therapy visits according to the established plan of care Educate patients and caregivers about treatment goals, exercises, and condition management Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising OT Accurately complete clinical documentation and visit notes using a company-provided tablet Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members Qualifications Current Rhode Island license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Current CPR certification Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance Ability to travel within a 25-mile radius between patient assignments Strong communication and teamwork skills Must comply with all Rhode Island Department of Health (RI DOH)
